Mountains for Islands
September 06, 2019
After Hurricane Dorian's devastating Category 5 strike on the Bahamas, many are suffering and recovering from the storm's damage. This is a heartbreaking time for the country's many islands and we want to help.
Mountains for Islands Hurricane Relief is a local donation drive for Eastern Kentucky to help the people of the Bahamas. With many suffering, items are in urgent need as the good people recover from the disaster. Sometime we feel as if we can't do anything about situations like this, but we CAN! Let's work together to bring some positive light on the people in the Bahamas and help them as much as we can.
Seth Setser, sales consultant at ABCO Security, took it upon himself to organize the Mountains for Islands Hurricane Relief Drive. Seth will also be hand-delivering (as close as he can) the donated items to the people of the islands. He will be traveling to meet one of our sales consultants in Jacksonville, FL. Then, the two will travel to Miami (where the National Association of the Bahamas is based) to ship the items on to Bahamas. From the mountains to the islands, these small items can make a difference.
The items listed are urgent needs for the people on the islands. If you can, please donate and drop off to any of the listed locations.
